17th IAHR-APD Congress Keynote Addresses
A series of Keynote Lectures have been confirmed:
Hubert Chanson - The University of Queensland, Australia
Professor Chanson of The University of Queensland is an expert in environmental fluid mechanics and water engineering. He is the author of six books.
Mohamed S. Ghidaoui - The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology
Professor Ghidaoui of The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology is an expert in the fields of hydraulics, water resources and environmental fluid mechanics.
Morrie Te Whiti Love (Te Atiawa/Taranaki whanui ki Poneke)
Morrie has been involved in Maori resource management for many years. He has managed the Maori Secretariat (Maruwhenua) in the Ministry for the Environment and served as a director of the Waitangi Tribunal. He is currently Managing Director of Raukura Consultants based in Wellington.
Earl Shaver - Aqua Terra International
Earl is a graduate Agricultural Engineer with a Master of Science in Civil Engineering emphasizing hydrology and hydraulics. He initiated and implemented two state-wide sediment control and stormwater management programmes in the states of Maryland and Delaware in the U.S. He then moved to Auckland, New Zealand where fhe assisted the Auckland Regional Council in the evolution of their sediment control and stormwater management programmes.
