Haere mai and welcome to the IAHR-APD 2010 Congress website. We are delighted to extend an invitation to you to participate in the 17th Congress, to be held at the School of Engineering, The University of Auckland from 21 - 24 February, 2010.

The 2010 Congress incorporates the 7th International Urban Watershed Management Conference and is being organised by The University of Auckland and The Open Polytechnic of New Zealand. The numbers for each Technical visit will be fixed. Please sign up in the registration window, to ensure participation.

Climate in Auckland In February, the temperature ranges between 20 and 30ºC. The weather in Auckland is generally pleasant, however it can be unpredictable. You’ll need to be prepared for whatever the day may bring. In summer, have a light rain jacket with you just in case. The sun is surprisingly intense in New Zealand, so protect exposed skin with an effective sunscreen when you’re outside. Look for an SPF rating of 30 or above.
